Patients for Patients a NJ NonProfit Corporation (“Patients for Patients”, “we”, “our”, or “us” ) has developed this Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, and share the Personal Information of visitors to and users of our website at www.PatientsforPatients.com, including but not limited to any affiliated websites that link to our website, our online and offline donation platforms, and our programs and services, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through such sites such as newsletters, blogs, events, archives, job board, online content and discussion forums (collectively, the “website”).  Patients for Patients does not control, and is not responsible for, any third-party site or content to which the website links.  By using any portion of the Website, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by both this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.  

If you do not agree with both this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, your sole remedy is not to access the website or use any information on the website.

Credit/debit card information is collected though a secure website and processed via donorbox.com, a leading payment gateway for secure processing of credit, debit and electronic check transactions.  Patients for Patients does not have access to complete card data, and we do not store your credit card information once your online payment has been processed.

We may use your Personally Identifiable Information to respond to requests you may make of us, to contact you, or to provide information to you about our company or our products. We also may use your Personally Identifiable Information to better understand your needs and how we can improve our products and our business.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.  

18.  Dispute Resolution

You and Patients for Patients, both Parties, agree to the following dispute resolution provisions of this Section 11 with respect to any claim, dispute, or controversy that you may have against Patients for Patients and/or its affiliates, and each of their respective current or former officers and board members, officers, directors, and employees and agents, arising out of, relating to, or connected in any way with the Website, Patients for Patients, these Terms, any applicable end user agreement (which are incorporated by reference herein) (a “Dispute”) and any lawsuit, arbitration or other proceeding that may arise out of such Dispute (an “Action”).  Both Parties will engage in mediation first.  If such dispute is not resolved with mediation, it will be followed by binding arbitration by ADR Options, Inc. located in Pennsylvania.  Any such hearings before ADR Options shall take place either remotely or in the State of New Jersey, as agreed by the ADR Options Arbitrator.  You have agreed to pay all fees on behalf of Patients for Patients and/or its affiliates, and each of their respective current or former board members, officers, directors, and employees and agents for any dispute resolution that you have initiated.  The Award of the Arbitrator from ADR Options, Inc. shall be final and binding and may be entered in any Court having jurisdiction thereof.  

You agree that by entering into these terms, in particular the agreement to arbitrate, you are waiving the right to trial, by jury or to participate in a class action and that you may bring claims again Patients for Patients Only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.  Any arbitration or other action will take place on an individual basis; class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted.  

Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the Website, Patients for Patients, or arising out of or related to these Terms of Use must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises; otherwise, such claim or cause of action is considered waived and is permanently barred. 


19.  Children

We do not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. Our site is not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under 13.

It is possible that by fraud or deception we may receive information pertaining to children under 13. If we are notified of this, as soon as we verify the information, we will immediately obtain parental consent or otherwise delete the information from our servers.
